Staring at the computer for almost ten minutes. I asked myself “what do I write about?” This isn’t who I used to be. There was a “me” that didn’t have to search so hard to uplift someone else with my words.
How had I been so lost, consuming yet rarely giving? So immersed in the noise designed to keep us distracted, to keep us from listening. The affairs of life rarely permitting us to pause, meditate, reflect and draw from within.
Could this be me? Or you?
Forgetting the joys we feel in these seemingly small, meaningful things. Tuning our ears to the noise around, struggling to remember that we were created with and for purpose and true joy remains elusive until we begin to walk in it.
Have you become a consumer? Taking in and not pouring out. Living each day without intention.
That’s why I’m here. To remind you that “tick tick” says the clock. It’s time to look inwards, again. Draw from within and then dispense to the world.
A true light can never be hidden.
